Hello everyone!

I'd like to ask you some advice concerning the above-mentionned issue. I've been addicted to food for ages, I think it takes its roots right back when I was a child, my mum was working late and left plenty biscuits and chocolates in the cupboard so when we came home after school, me and my bro didn't stop munching those and then when I was a teenager I started putting on weight a bit so I put myself on a diet but then I would crack and eat like crazy, I wasn't a boulimic really but it was clearly close to that, I could eat a lot in a few minutes time until I could be sick.

Then Six years ago I was diagnosed with CFS and one of the issue is a yeast infection which gives me cravings for carbs (I eat organic and whole grain cereals now, along with organic veggies, fruits and good cold pressed oils) but I still have cravings for carbs and even though they are good carbs, it's not good for my intestines and glycemia. I should follow a low carb diet but it's really hard. Around the time of my periods, these compulsive disorders worsen and I can't stop myself from eating and I wondered if EFT could help me and what phrases I could use. Also when should I tap and how long?

I have difficulties accepting myself cos I feel fat and don't like it, I tap on that saying "even though i feel fat, i start to accept myself more every day"

what do you think?

Try putting more protein and healthy fat in your diet. This will help stabalize your blood sugar levels, which will reduce your cravings. Then going on a low-glycemic (aka low carb) diet will feel more doable.

At the same time, start tapping on every food you crave. Pay attention to whatever feelings that may arise during this process, and tap on those.

Tapping on a positive affirmation such as "I accept myself more every day" will only be effective if you pay attention to the "taik-enders", the objections to the affirmation that might arise, and tapping on those.

Hope this is helpful.

Warmest Regards,

Terry L Currier

Hi Carojilie,

Ask yourself if your mother's working late led to your eating a lot… did you eat                   because you felt lonely or anxious? Just ask these questions and tap on the                      answers.

Tap on the craving for carb-

Even though  I l have cravings for carbs and even though they are  not good for my intestines and glycemia, I love and forgive myself and choose to start a low carb diet.

Address the main cause of these cravings as you said- yeast infection… which gave you a craving…

Tapping daily on cravings will help ..just when you get the cravings.

Tap more during the periods time as the cravings worsen then.

Even though I have this tendency to eat more during periods, I love and forgive myself and i choose to eat moderately.

Also, tapping on self image will help.

even though I feel and look fat, i still love and accept myself.
